I believe art is another way to tell the world a story. Sometimes it begins with a feeling, a texture, a place, or simply something that catches my eye.
I’ve always had a fascination with geodes and crystals. You’ll find them throughout my work—in the colors, the textures, and sometimes the actual stones themselves. I love the layers, the unexpected beauty, and the stories they seem to tell.
That’s how I create. I follow what speaks to me, layer it together, and let the story unfold.

About The Artist
Hi! I’m Teri, the artist behind Textured Story Design.
I’ve always been drawn to things that are a little different. I love taking something ordinary and finding a way to make it special and unique.
I’m especially fascinated by color—unexpected color combinations, rich metallics, shimmering minerals, natural stone, and textures that invite you to look a little closer. I love experimenting with different materials to see how they work together, and sometimes the most beautiful designs come from trying something completely new.
Every piece I create is handcrafted in my studio using paint, pigments, resin, stone, crystals and carefully layered textures. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, and that’s one of my favorite things about creating.
